Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, announced that he was considering quitting his job to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time influencer.
According to Forbes, Elon Musk, the worlds richest person, is worth $263 billion.
The billionaire used his Twitter account to solicit feedback from his over 65 million followers on his plans to change occupations.
He tweeted, “Thinking of quitting my jobs and becoming an influencer full-time. Wdyt (what do you think?).”
Musk’s statement elicited a mixed response from his followers, with some applauding his goals and others questioning his motivation, noting that he was already a powerful figure.
A tweep, @albi sidearms, replied to the tweet, saying, “I’ll be your first subscriber if you make an OnlyFans.” (sic)
“Maybe, I will,” Musk stated in response.
Musk is the CEO of SpaceX, the founder of Boring Company, and the Co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI, among other tech-related leadership positions.
According to an article published by The Guardian two months ago, Morgan Stanley analysts anticipated that the 50-year-old computer expert would become the world’s first trillionaire, owing to his aerospace company SpaceX.
“More than one client has told us that if Elon Musk were to become the first trillionaire… it won’t be because of Tesla. Others have said SpaceX may eventually be the most highly valued company in the world — in any industry,” analyst Adam Jones had said.
