Upcoming British TV series, ‘ Highlife’ is set to feature Nigerian celebrity and former big brother housemate, Kiddwaya and Celebrity Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy.
Kiddwaya confirmed his feature on Instagram through a post he shared. The former big brother housemates feels happy for the selection and can’t wait to begin.
“I’m so excited to announce I’m part of the brand-new docu-ality series Highlife, starting Friday 10th September at 10pm on prime time Channel 4. It’s the first show of its kind in British history and it promises deliver on jaw dropping original content.” – Kiddwaya shared.
The TV series which is set to be released in September on British television Network Channel 4 would follow the life process and attempt at success of young black Brits.
The movie follows the struggle for breakthrough in lives of young Nigerian Brits and it is set to be the first of its kind.
To establish this reports, Channels 4 released a statement to explicitly explain how the TV series would go and the stars of the movie.
” ‘Highlife’ follows the lives and loves of a group of ambitious, glamourous young Nigerian Brits all chasing their own idea of success,” Channel 4 affirmed.
“Highlighting a community where high family expectations often impact career choices, relationships and even friendship groups, the four-part docu-ality series is an aspirational but utterly relatable authentic portrayal of British life.” – Channel 4 added.
In another news, the commissioning director of Channel 4 also explained that the show would be different as it forms a different mix of genre.
“Glossy, ambitious and unapologetic, just like it’s cast, this confident new series will look different both in front of and behind the camera whilst still reflecting the highs and lows of life in a way we can all relate to, ”-Channel 4 commissioning Director said.
The TV series will also feature actors like Toni, Chiefer, Kamille, Befnicia, Tomi and Irene while hitting the scenes by September 10.
