Fireboy’s Peru Tops Official Afrobeats UK Chart For The Week | Watch

Nigerian singer, Fireboy has once again top the Afrobeats UK chart for the week with top Nigerian acts behind the Peru crooner.

According to the confirmed report from official charts Twitter page, Fireboy DML jumped to number one spot leaving behind industry giants like Tems, Kojo funds and fast rising having signee and ‘Good Samaritan crooner, Ayra Starr.

Fireboy who released his smash hit, Peru few months ago as a freestyle, announcing the release casually via his twitter page, did not expect the heights ‘Peru’ has attached.

Since the release of the smash hit, it has gone on to top charts, break record streams and gained social traction. The song growth has also being helped largely due to the Tiktok challenge.

Peru has now claimed the number one spot on the official afrobeat UK chart. Some of the Nigerian act on the chart are Wizkid, Tems and Ayra starr.
