Peace Awards: Mary Lazarus bags Most Peaceful Actress of the Year

Mary Lazarus, a Nollywood actress, won the ‘Most Peaceful Actress of the Year’ title at the recent 2021 National Peace Awards.

On Sunday, the ecstatic actress turned to her verified Instagram profile to post photos from the event as well as her prize certificate.

The award ceremony, according to the pictures she shared, took place in Abuja on Saturday, November 13, 2021.

The actress said that she was represented by her colleague, Fawowe Asanu, even though she was unable to attend the ceremony.

Lazarus expressed her joy at receiving the prize and thanked the organizers for the honor.

She wrote,

As we strive to promote peace and cordiality in our society, I’m thrilled to have received the award for being one of the most Peaceful Actors.

“I’m grateful to the organizers – National Peace Awards for finding me worthy to be celebrated.

“Thank you to Dr Suleiman Adejoh, National President Messengers of Peace.
I appreciate this honor.

“Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Fawowe Asanu for representing me yesterday.”

Lazarus also revealed some of the other awardees at the National Peace Awards in one of the pictures she posted on her page.

Timpriye Silva, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Minister of the Year/Amnesty Man of the Year); Vivian Lam, Managing Director of Vivian Lam Glamour Magazine (Media Personality of the Year); and others are among the awardees.
