Amotekun arrests suspected kidnapper in Osun state

Ridwan Kasali, a suspected kidnapper, has been apprehended by Osun Amotekun Corps personnel in Osogbo.

Kasali, a middle-aged man, was apprehended around the Capital area, Osogbo, Osun State, after allegedly coming from the Yemetu secretariat area, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Kasali confessed that he kidnapped roughly five people and sold them to someone named Abija in Lagos and Ibadan.

Comrade Amitolu Shittu, the field commander of Amotekun in Osun, confirmed the arrest of the accused kidnapper.

According to him, the Corps has turned over the suspect to the Department of State Service (DSS) leadership for further inquiry.

“The suspect confessed to kidnapping five children in Osogbo and transporting them to Ibadan, where they were murdered,” Shittu said.
