Following their recent successful attacks on military formations, the bandits are now targeting security formations in the area, according to the lawmaker.

“They are now looking for security operatives because their morale has been boosted by their recent attack on a military formation in Dama, where many soldiers, police officers, and Civil Defence officers were killed.

“As a result, they are now attacking locations where they know military, police, or other paramilitaries are camped.

“They shot two people, one of whom was a woman, and burned three others who were hiding in a grain store; one of them died instantly, while the other two are being treated in the hospital,” he said.
