Insecurity: Bandits will soon have no place to hide – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that bandits will have no place to hide under Nigeria’s gallant security forces, and that his administration is more dedicated than ever to protect Nigerians from murderous criminal groups.

The President stated this in a message on Monday in response to the killing of over 30 people by bandits in Goronyo, Sokoto State, on Sunday.

He cautioned that the clock is ticking on the ultimate annihilation of bandits, and that they will no longer have a place to hide.

The President said,

“The bandits are living in fool’s paradise of invincibility, but reality will soon dawn on them harder than ever before.

”The bandits are currently under desperate pressures because of the intense and sustained air and ground operations against them in their hideouts by our security forces.

“The cowardly attacks on innocent people by the bandits show a rearguard action of criminals under pressure.

”But they will have no place to hide and our gallant security forces will not relent in the current offensive to defeat these callous enemies of humanity.”

Buhari urged Nigerians not to despair because this administration is determined more than ever before to protect Nigerians from murderous criminal gangs that have no respect for the sanctity human of life”

He called on victims of the attack to be patient as the military strategises on how to deliver the crushing blow to these bandits.
