PDP sends birthday wishes to Sultan of Sokoto as he clocks 65

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) congratulated the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III, on his 65th birthday.

Kola Ologbondiyan, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, characterized the Sultan of Sokoto as an unusually upright, bold, and straightforward leader who has dedicated his life and noble position to the service of humanity in a statement released on Tuesday.

Despite his lofty achievements and the authority and magnificence of his exalted throne, he continued, the Sultan has remained a strong quintessence of patriotism, compassion, love, and service to the people, regardless of tribe, creed, or class.

The Sultan’s unwavering dedication to national unity and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria, particularly in his positions as Co-Chair of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council, was praised by the PDP (NIREC).

“The PDP holds the Sultan of Sokoto in high regard for his foresight in offering direction not just to the Muslim community but also to the nation as a whole, especially at this important juncture in our country’s history.

“On this historic occasion, the PDP heartily congratulates the Sultan, the Sultanate of Sokoto, and the Muslim community, and prays to Almighty Allah, in His mercy, to grant the Sultan many more decades of good health so that our nation and humanity, in general, can benefit from his wealth of experience, wisdom, and commitment to humanity.” According to the statement
