Unknown gunmen attacks Katsina Islamic school, abducts students!

Unknown gunmen stormed a school in Katsina state and kidnapped quite a number of students with details yet to be unknown.

Report shows that one teacher and quite a number of students of Islamiyya school in Sakkai village are among the victims.

The kidnappers abducted the students while heading to evening lessons within the school environment.

This incident follows a recent which took place in Batsari town, local government area of Katsina state where three people were eliminated during an attack.

A resident of the community where the event took place, spoke with newsmen and revealed that one of the victims who happened to be his sister died of shock due to fear of gunshots by the kidnappers. He said the other two died from stray bullets.

He said:

“By the time the bandits came to Batsari, we learnt that the security men were at Dankar village which was surrounded by bandits, This is coming few hours after bandits abducted some students and teachers of the College of Agriculture and Animal Health in Bakura.”
