Unknown gunmen kidnap Kogi state university lecturer

Ayingba Prof. John Alabi, a lecturer at Kogi State University, has been kidnapped.

He was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Monday around 6 p.m.

The incident allegedly occurred as the lecturer was about to enter his apartment.
Alabi is the current Dean of Kogi State University’s Faculty of Management Sciences.

According to reports, the kidnappers, who were fully armed, approached the University Don in a Mercedes Benz car and whisked him away to an unknown location.

According to a family source, the abductors have contacted the family and the administration of Kogi State University.

According to the source, the abductors called Prof. Alabi’s wife and demanded N20 million.

“When Prof. Alabi was about to enter his residence, the kidnappers ambushed him with a Mercedes Benz.

They wanted to take him away in his car, but they couldn’t because of the bad part where they forced him to park his car. The car had become immobilized. That’s why they dragged him into their car.

“When they called Dr. Alabi’s wife, they told her that her husband was with them. If she wants to see her husband alive, the family must pay N20 million. The wife immediately began crying because the family could not afford such a large sum of money, according to the source.
