Mr Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that he joined the party to build an alternative platform capable of ousting the PDP from office.
Despite being removed from office, Oshiomhole declared that his goal was met and that he had no regrets.
He also expressed hope that Nigeria’s general election in 2023 would go off without a hitch.
“ I accepted what transpired in good faith and will continue to do everything in my power to help the party.
“I am still involved in all APC initiatives, and I don’t believe I needed to be the chairman to be useful.
“I didn’t join the party to become chairman; I joined to build an alternative platform capable of ousting the PDP from power, and I succeeded in that goal.
“It doesn’t matter how things have turned out. The primary goal was not for me to become the APC chairman, according to NAN.
