Despite the rise in security challenges in Nigeria, Femi Adesina, President Muhammadu Buhari’s media adviser, has highlighted why Nigerians have reasons to be thankful.
While appearing on a Channels TV show on Thursday morning, Adesina stated that things are much better under the Buhari administration.
“As difficult as security is, even now, we are still not where we were,” he says.
“If you are sincere and dispassionate, you would look at some areas of security and have reason to praise God that things are better in this area.
“Things are a lot better in several areas of security than they used to be. There are still some difficult issues to resolve, but Adesina is certain they will be resolved within the administration’s tenure.
This comes less than 24 hours after more than 70 school children in Zamfara State were kidnapped.
Meanwhile, in Katsina, Kebbi, Niger, Kaduna, and Zamfara States, bandits have killed and abducted hundreds of residents in coordinated raids, prompting school closures at various intervals.
