EPL: Mohammed Salah Demands £500,000 as Weekly Pay

According to the UK Mirror, Liverpool winger Mohammed Salah wants the club to pay him £500,000 per week so he can become the Premier League’s top paid.

Jurgen Klopp, the Reds’ manager, has already revealed that the club is in talks to extend Salah’s contract.

The Egyptian agreement is set to expire in less than two years.

The 29-year-old is currently one of Liverpool’s highest-paid players, and a new contract would make him the club’s highest-paid player ever, surpassing Vigil Van Dijk’s new £220,000-per-week deal.

If Liverpool agrees to Salah’s demands, he would surpass Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo as the highest-paid player in the United Kingdom.

On his return to Old Trafford last week, Ronaldo agreed to a two-year contract earning £480,000 per week.

Following in the footsteps of Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Jordan Henderson, Klopp is eager for Salah to commit his future to the club.
