Former Aston Villa striker, Gabriel Agbonlahor, has chosen England captain Harry Kane over Cristiano Ronaldo as the best finisher.
He called Kane “the best finisher he’s ever seen” and said he’d rather have him in his squad than five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo made his official homecoming to Old Trafford on Tuesday, 12 years after leaving for Real Madrid and subsequently Juventus.
Kane, a striker for Tottenham Hotspur, has scored more than 15 goals in each of the last seven league seasons and is now ranked sixth in England’s scoring charts.
When asked whether he would rather have Kane or Ronaldo in a cup final, the former Aston Villa striker replied, “I’m having Harry Kane. There’s no one better than Harry Kane if you’re trying to finish.” His ending is a farce.’
“He’s right up there [greatest striker in the world] because we forget about Harry Kane because of what occurred in the summer, with Ronaldo coming to the Premier League and Lukaku going to Chelsea,” he told talkSPORT.
‘His Premier League goal record, his last season’s accomplishments, his assists, and his goals. If there’s anyone in the Premier League you don’t want to lose to, it’s Harry Kane. I’ve never seen anyone else finish as well as he does.
