Andres Iniesta, a Barcelona legend, has revealed that he intends to return to Camp Nou in the future.
Many things have changed at Barcelona, according to Iniesta, who currently plays for Vissel Kobe in Japan.
Barcelona is going through a difficult time both at home and in Europe.
Ronald Koeman’s team has lost their last two games in LaLiga and in the Champions League, both against Atletico Madrid.
But Iniesta, 37, believes they can recover. “I will always see Barcelona positively because I still see a different team,” Iniesta said to the BBC.
“A lot has changed since then. The players are obviously different, but there is still an idea, a concept.”
“Yes, [returning to Barcelona] is something I hope to do,” he added.
“I would like it to happen because, above all, it is the club where I spent so many years.
“You don’t know what will happen in the future; you don’t know how I’ll return or who will be in charge at any given time.
But if you ask me if I want to, I’ll say yes.”
Iniesta played for Barcelona for 16 years.
Among other things, the Spaniard won nine LaLiga titles and four Champions League trophies.
