Newcastle’s new owners may fire manager Steve Bruce this week.
According to SportsMail, Bruce’s presence on the bench could have a negative impact on the team’s performance against Tottenham Hotspur.
The 60-year-old would be compensated in the region of £8 million.
Amanda Staveley, the club’s director, already has a shortlist of Bruce’s potential replacements, although the hiring could take some time.
